Photo Assistant needed on Saturday 10/31

Hi Class,

I am photographing at a Civil War Re-enactment thirty miles outside of Richmond on Saturday, October 31 for three hours. I need an assistant for the shoot. The set-up will be a backdrop, a battery pack, and two heads. I will need assistance setting up and breaking down, and potentially wrangling models while I am shooting. Email me if you are interested. This is a personal project, and as such, there is no pay. However, I will feed you!

Grades Posted on Blackboard

Your grades have been posted on Blackboard. You all did an excellent job on this assignment. Even those of you who struggled-the fact that you went to the studio several times outside of class to correct your mistakes raised your grade. I graded on the immense improvements everyone made in their images, and I was quite generous with the grades this time around because of the effort you all put into the work. The next assignment will be graded based on how much you improve from this past one, so keep that in mind, do your best, and blow me away again!

Richmond Camera ROES Professional Printing Lab

so here is the link to the richmond camera prolab site. they have CHEAP pricing, GREAT quality prints that have a NEXT-DAY turnaround! best of all, if things don't turn out quite right it's in town so you can just go right down to either location and get it rectified. check them out: http://richmondprofessionallab.com/about.html. also...i wanted to let students know that itunes offers past lectures that were held @ VCU in a variety of departments. most importantly, they have an archive of a lot of really great past lectures. i am really into todd hido's work and his lecture is available on vcu itunes as well. enjoy.
