My first really strong interest in photography was in photographing skateboarding. I still really love shooting skateboarding as well as other extreme sports but have not really found much room to explore that avenue in my classes here at VCU.


Of all the type of work that I have done for the past few years while at VCU I have been most interested in creating and staging things to photograph rather than shooting things that other people might find. I also like to manipulate my subjects so they are at least unique or hard to identify.I also have been interested in environmental portraits.


Last but not least, I am way more drawn to the outdoors than anything interior.
